I purchased EDS Bootstrap One Page Parallax WordPress Theme ( edsbootstrap pro ), and want to use smart permalinks. When changing permalinks to show the %postname% all links to posts go to “404 error Page not found”
When changing back to the original theme the permalinks remain broken althouth the smart permalinks worked before installing EDS theme. Now only “plain” permalinks work. I have disabled all the plugins of EDS theme, but problem does not go away.
Please help solve the problem

Make sure you server root 777 write permission and as well created .htaccess file .
