Pre Purchase Query

Hi,
 
I am willing to buy the pro version today itself, just wanted to confirm the following two points to clear my doubt.
 

1. If i want to display all the product categories i have on a particular page, can it be done, just the product categories, not the products listed under them.
 
2. Does the plug-in replaces default woocommerce design or can I use the default design and customize it as per the options given in the pro version
